Message From The Parish Priest
Father Flynn's presentation and farewell will be held at the evening mass on Saturday 10th October. Father will offer this mass and then in the Marian room after the mass, there will be a cuppa and a bit and a presentation with your generous cheque which is now over £750!! I was hoping to have a family fun night, but farher cannot come on a Sunday because he has an evening mass for the students of Salford University followed by a gathering in the chaplaincy after the University mass, so we will have to make do with a smaller scale send off!!
(Father Tom Connolly)
Loreto high school celebrated its latest academic success with a mass on Thursday with a supper afterwards. Fr. Flynn offered the concelebrated mass and a supper was served afterwards and the school gave a gift afterwards to say thank you for all the wonderful apostolic work he has done (and will do though on a smaller scale).
