Beatification
In the Roman Catholic church, a process wherby an individual is declared worthy of veneration and the ability to intercede in heaven for those on earth. It is one step short of canonisation. A person beatified is known by adding the title Blessed before their name.
Blessed Sacrament, The
A term used in Roman Catholicism for the Eucharist.
Book of Life, The
A term found in Revelation 20:15 and 21:27 amongst other places, to indicate those who are chosen by God. Those not found in the Book are eternally damned.
Bull
