Docetism
From the Greek: dokeo - 'To appear'. The heretical view that the sufferings of Christ whilst on earth were apparent, not real.
Dogma
The term is often used in Roman Catholic belief and refers to the discovery of truth by divine revelation, and the subsequent definition by the church. An example is the Dogma of the Assumption of Mary, dating from 1950.
Dualism
The world view that postulates that all reality ultimately consists of two opposing forces: those of good and evil respectively.
