Nihil Obstat
Latin: 'nothing impedes'. In Roman Catholicism, a declaration by a censor that a book or other publication contains nothing damaging to the faith or morals of the church.
Novena
Latin: novem - 'Nine'. A period of nine days prayer or meditation.
Nuptial Mass
A special Mass that takes place within the context of a marriage ceremony.

A prayer deriving from the words of Simeon in Luke 2:29-32:
